The intention with our birth packages is to provide comprehensive emotional support, well remaining advocates for the families we engage with. As a birth doula, Opal aims to incorporate sound medicine throughout the prenatal, birth, and postpartum experience.
As a sound healer, Opal recognizes the immense somatic opportunity that sound medicine offers the body on a cellular level. As a doula, she has found it to be very supportive, and a unique offering for those in a birthing space. This is with sound bowls, rattles, drums, and singing.
The body responds to these tonal vibrations, strengthening the connection with the breath and body.

Ceremonial Birthwork
Our ceremonial birthwork unifies sound, herbal medicine, and womb healing practices to nurture the process of birthing and fertility reflecting ancient traditions. Holding space for the healing and nurturing of the womb.
Standing within the doors of the birthing space is a moment not only for the soul joining us earthside, but for the community around them to join in celebration. There is this moment of sacred pause and witnessing, of the deep impact that this transition carries for all who stood to witness it. Our ceremonial birth work practice creates a sacred space to honor this moment. Honoring the different routes, and choices, that one is to make along any step of the journey birth takes us on.
This work also honors and celebrates the ways in which our ancestral lineages come to greet us in these thresholds. To join in the opportunity, to invite the intuition to lead your expansive experience through conversation, herbal medicine, and ceremony. Creating space not only for all the birth taught us, but also setting intention for the forward movement ahead.

Childbirth Education
Our course offerings are held in person and online and aim to share with deep intention various wisdoms from different lineages and cultures. With this in heart, we also provide resources to our communities to learn directly from communal elders and Wisdom keepers to maintain the integrity and sacredness of their practices.
Opal is currently training with the Center for Indigenous Midwifery as an Indigenous Childbirth Educator and aims to bridge the knowledge of birth practices with intuitive wisdoms.

A trained, community-health worker that provides emotional, physical and informational support for pregnant people before, during and after labor. Doulas give useful information on what to expect during labor and help you plan for the birth experience you want. With support from a doula, people feel more prepared for this big life transition.
We offer a range of services including birth support, childbirth education, postpartum care, and ceremonial support in the birthing experience. Each service is tailored to meet your individual needs and ensure you feel supported.

Opal is a WA State Certified Doula and accepts insurance for those who receive Apple Health Benefits.
Culturally matched care honors and celebrates an individual in their entirety. Not limited to who they are now, but celebrating every member of their lineage that brought them to this moment. Celebrating the holistic traditions, that incorporate the wisdom of the stars, to assist the birthing space here in the physical. Our intention as space holders is to provide support that resonates for you and your families traditions. Honoring if and when others may be supportive parts of your experience.
Absolutely! Doulas are welcome in all birth settings. We work alongside medical staff to ensure you receive personalized care while respecting your birth plan and wishes.
Doulas and Midwives are not the same. Doulas are emotional support for birthing peoples, while Midwives are considered providers. It is not within a Doula’s scope of practice to provide a medical advice, assessments, or evaluation.
